As it is so damn hot still I have not had the urge for self torture to go out in this heat and work with my horse's, so it seems they are getting fatter every day.
And that is all I have to say about the heat.

Well it is another hot day in Texas! I finally did a little bit of ground work with Zipper my Mare that has not been handled in several years.
I was quite in impressed with her willingness to lunge and other basic ground work. I will continue to lunge her and just mess with her a bit until Friday whenmy trainer comes over and I actually get to ride her!
I just know she will be a nice smooth ride as she moves so nice on the lunge line.
I have never shown a horse in horse shows, but I think I might like to get her out to a few local shows and show her in western pleasure.
I guess that is all I have for now.
